I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with MAK Studio was extremely disappointing from start to finish. I initially booked MAK Studio for three wedding events. However, after my experience dealing with them before the events, I decided I wanted to cancel two of the bookings. Instead of handling the request professionally, I was told that I either had to pay additional money or I couldn’t cancel the remaining two events. I eventually agreed to pay an extra PKR 10,000 just to resolve the situation, although they never ended up taking the amount. Later, I found out that the person who had been speaking to me so rudely was actually the owner himself. His behavior was highly unprofessional, dismissive, and disrespectful throughout the conversation. I decided to keep MAK Studio for only my Mehndi event in Lahore and hired Eyewood for my other two wedding events in Karachi. Looking back, that was one of the best decisions I made. On the Mehndi day, despite booking 2 photographers and 2 videographers, two members of the team arrived very late, delaying our planned couple shoot. Throughout the event, they barely covered the guests and mostly remained on the stage. The entire reason I hired a four-member team was so that one photographer and one videographer could stay on stage while the other two captured candid moments, family interactions, and the atmosphere. Unfortunately, that never happened. To make matters worse, the team left to have dinner without informing us or asking for permission, which meant they completely missed capturing one of the most important parts of the event—the food and guest dining experience. After the event, they refused to provide my photographs unless I paid the entire remaining balance immediately. Only after my husband spoke with them and proposed withholding just 10% until delivery did they finally agree to send the photos. When I finally received the pictures, I was genuinely shocked by the quality. Many important moments were either missed or poorly captured, and the overall photography was far below what I expected from a professional wedding studio. It made me regret booking them for even one event. The wedding film was better than the photographs, and I appreciate the effort put into the video editing, but it still could not make up for everything that was missed during the event. Unfortunately, even the wedding album was disappointing in terms of photo selection and overall presentation. In complete contrast, Eyewood handled my other two events in Karachi with exceptional professionalism. Their photographers and videographers were punctual, organized, attentive, and knew exactly what they were doing. They captured beautiful candid moments, produced stunning photographs, and created a wedding film that we absolutely love. Every interaction with them was pleasant and stress-free. I also hired Snap Studio for my Dholki event, and they exceeded my expectations as well. They were professional, easy to work with, and delivered beautiful photographs and a great video. Comparing all three experiences made the difference even more obvious. MAK Studio fell far below the level of professionalism and quality that I received from both Eyewood and Snap Studio. I would not recommend MAK Studio based on my personal experience. Wedding memories can never be recreated, and unfortunately many of ours were lost due to poor planning, lack of professionalism, and disappointing photography. If you’re investing in wedding photography, I strongly recommend choosing a team that values professionalism, communication, and quality.
