Emerald - Hall # 8

We recently hosted a Nikkah event at Emerald Hall #8 (Hall-C) at Garrison Club Lahore on 30 May 2026 (7:00 PM - 10:00 PM). To be fair, the booking experience was initially very good. The sales manager was professional, offered us a reasonable package, and the booking process went smoothly. We booked for 60 guests and paid 100% of the amount approximately 13-15 days before the event. However, the actual event-day experience was disappointing. We arrived around 45 minutes before the event and found that the bridal room assigned to Hall-C was not properly maintained. It was not clean, and an extremely old air conditioner appeared to be installed there. Even after running for around 40 minutes, the room remained unbearably hot. The management eventually offered us another bridal room in Hall-A, which was much better, but it was located on the opposite side of the venue. This meant repeatedly walking out through the hall and parking area, causing unnecessary inconvenience for the bride and family. The biggest issue was the air conditioning inside the hall itself. Lahore was experiencing temperatures of around 40°C that day, and for a premium banquet facility like Emerald Hall, proper cooling should be a basic expectation. Unfortunately, the hall remained uncomfortably warm throughout the event. There were only two very old AC units installed, and one of them was partially blocked behind the stage décor, making it ineffective for guest seating areas. To compensate, management placed pedestal fans inside the hall, which looked completely out of place in a venue marketed as a modern, high-end event facility. Despite multiple complaints, the Operational Manager, Mr. Rana Sikandar, displayed an unprofessional and discourteous attitude. Instead of addressing guests' concerns regarding the hall conditions, he repeatedly focused on additional charges for approximately 10 extra guests. At one point, he stated that food would not be served until those dues were cleared. We had already paid hundreds of thousands of rupees in advance and had clearly communicated that any additional charges would be settled. The manner in which this was handled felt unnecessary, disrespectful, and stressful during an important family event. Another issue was inadequate seating arrangements. Chairs were fewer than the number of guests present, and we had to repeatedly ask staff members to bring additional chairs. On a positive note, the floor manager and waiters were cooperative, and the food quality was good. We have no complaints regarding catering or serving staff. My purpose in writing this review is not simply to criticize but to make future customers aware of potential issues. When families spend significant amounts of money on once-in-a-lifetime events, they expect professionalism, proper facilities, and respectful treatment. Unfortunately, the poor air conditioning, inadequate preparation, and the conduct of the operational management significantly affected our overall experience.

I recently attended an event at this banquet hall and was impressed by the beautiful decorations and overall ambience of the place. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the food and the service. While the food was not terrible, it was not particularly noteworthy either. It was just okay, neither too good nor too bad. However, I did enjoy the green tea they served. One aspect of the service that was particularly disappointing was the way they served soda drinks. It seemed quite unprofessional and lacking in attention to detail. Overall, I would say that the banquet hall has a lot of potential, with its beautiful decorations and lovely ambience. However, improvements could be made in terms of the food quality and service, particularly with regard to how they serve soda drinks

All these halls are best in their ambiance, approach and security. Very well decorated hall with cool welcome tunnel. Vast parking area. Sitting space is good. Food is excellent Overall an excellent place
