I think this place is a bit garish for a شادی hall but I went there to attend the most excellent Haryali Festival. And that was just a super-fantastic experience. I am not sure how long this festival will last, but it's worth making a trip to Barki Road for this. I am all about supporting our local vendors and small businesses and I hope you are too. Highly recommended during the festival only.

Although a bit fat from mainstream Lahore at Burki Road, the marquee is very huge and dinner and decoration arrangements are amazing. It was a gathering of 500 people and space was enough to accommodate such big gathering easily. Food stations were ample and dinner menu was very sumptuous with 10 plus dishes catered by Paola Cosa Nostra. One negative is their restroom facilities are very subpar and need to be improved a great deal. Overall a recommended option for large events especially if you want to avoid one dish conundrum.

I have been visiting since mid last year for Haryali events. There have been like 6 of them already which I have visited. Every time the parking is full and I have to park on the road far far away and walk back and forth. There is no security guy on the road where the majority of people are parking and there aren't any street lights so cars can be stolen pretty easily. Inside, there are only a few seats in the food area. In every event, you have to run around and find seating for your family where you can eat peacefully (sort of). Portion sizes are small, Most kiosks Like lalu chacha are selling average food at exorbitantly high prices. Then there are a few gems which sell good artisanal stuff at good rates and good food with good portion sizes like the churros business which is always there. Overall it's a decent venue but it gets very jam packed and hot even in winters with the number of people there.

Good place, went there for the Haryali event, had an amazing time. Home-run businesses and home chefs. Had a large variety of stalls, from food to clothing, to interior decoration, and fun people to meet!
